If you ever find yourself in the Stellenbosch area, treat yourself to the magnificence that is Peter Falke! Their wines are refreshingly fruity and the nachos are to die for, trust us when we say this!
Let us just start by saying that Peter Falke wines are just as good as the Falke socks. Grab a seat on a beanbag under an umbrella, lounge about on their gorgeous lawns or take shelter from the heat inside their tasting room. One thing’s for sure when it’s a perfect summer’s day, there’s nothing quite like grabbing your gal and pals and heading out for some wine tasting. You know what they say ”it’s always wine O’Clock”.
Peter Falke Wines:
So, what’s on the must-try list? To start off with some rose to ease you into the wine tasting. Disclaimer: it might just become your summer favourite. Then allow your taste buds to be surprised by their sauvignon blanc which usually can be quite green and leave that “zing” at the back of your throat but this sauvignon blanc tastes like the tropical holiday you’ve never had!
At Peter Falke, they have two ranges of wine that are brought to life at Groenvlei. Owner Peter Falke and his wife invite guests to enjoy the exceptional wines that reflect their lifestyles, cultures, and personalities. How cool?
After a few wine tastings, you get a little buzz on and your stomach starts growling. Don’t lie to yourself, we’ve all been there! Order up some of their nachos for the table, you can thank us later. The nachos at Peter Falke is divine and will not leave you disappointed!
Here’s the lowdown on what this wine tasting adventure will cost you: Wine tasting will cost you between R35p/p to R45p/p depending on your wine tasting preference. We’d suggest opting for the R45p/p option as you get to taste all of the estate wine. Nachos may seem to cost a penny or two but they’re well worth the R145. Enjoy a day at this beautiful wine farm. We mean – after all, good times are for free!
