Adventure & Tours:

Each tour is led by experienced, knowledgeable and accredited Cave Guides who offer tours English however the Cango Caves go the extra mile and offer tours in Afrikaans, German, French and other language options. All that they ask is that language availability be checked when making reservations.

The crowd favourite and pleaser at the Cango Caves is the Adventure Tour. It’s not for the faint-hearted or claustrophobic but it is such a fun and special experience! If you ever wanted an activity that pushes you out of your comfort zone and while meeting new people while over-coming old fears at the same, The Adventure Tour is for you.

The Tour Route:

The tour starts in the beautiful King Solomon’s Mines and then, starting your climb up some stairs you move on to The Tunnel of Love and this is where things get… well… sticky. From the Tunnel of Love, you suddenly find yourself in an Ice Chamber, Coffin, The Devil’s Chimney (which lives up to its scary name) where you lastly pass through The Post Box. Don’t be surprised when you come out of there looking like a hot mess… lol! For the less Adventurous, there is the beautiful and highly informative Heritage Tour.

The Cango Caves has more to offer with facilities that includes a restaurant, curio shop, interpretive centre, and information centre.

It should be noted that there are Wheelchair Friendly Areas Only in Cango Caves Building as Tours not wheelchair friendly.

Its crucial to book so…
