The shortest hike up is 3 hours, while the longest can be 6! Don’t have any hiking boots? No problem! Take the cable car all the way up and down instead. Each trip takes no longer than 5 minutes and the cable car does a 360-degree turn the entire time. Kirstenbosch takes the term garden to the next level covering a massive 528 hectares! On your way, stop at a store to buy your favourite snacks and have an impromptu picnic. If you’d prefer to spend more time here then pack in a blanket and relax inside this picture-perfect location. Once you’re ready to
explore, walk along the boomslang and see the garden from above.

Sunset concerts and end your day on the perfect note – with some live music.

Enjoy the Atlantic Ocean at The V&A Waterfront:

Round up an epic day of exploring along the Atlantic coast. Start off by shopping to your heart’s content with everything from markets to designer stores. If you’re up for another bird’s eye view of Cape Town, hop in a gondola on The Cape Wheel and enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area. PS: they’re air conditioned! If the waters are calm and you’re an ocean lover then make your way over to the harbour, pick the boat you fancy and head out to sea. Each boat will have different times that they set out, so pick the one that best suits your schedule and plans for the rest of the day. Head to Robben Island or travel along the coast to Camps Bay – sit back, relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

The best way to end off any day is a stop in Long Street! Grab dinner, happy hour cocktails, bar games, live music and an unforgettable vibe. It will feel like an endless road of options, but walk up and down to see what you’re in the mood for and simply enjoy. You can easily stay out until the next morning without realizing it because the energy in the road only gets better as the sun sets!
