On New Year’s Eve, the gardens of Kirstenbosch present South African singer-songwriter, Jeremy Loops, who will be sharing the stage with Cape Town band, Crimson House. 2. Cape Town Comedy Club Annual New Years Eve Show:

The best way to walk into the New Year is with a smile on your face and that’s exactly how the Cape Town Comedy Club New Years Show will leave you feeling. This year’s show will be hosted by Carl Weber and Dj Azuhl, featuring snippets from their sold out show #WaarWasJy. The show features some of South Africa’s best comedians: Lindy Johnson, Angel Campey and KG Mokgadi. The ticket prices include a welcome drink on arrival and a glass of bubbly for the countdown. Happy Hour will be from 6pm to 7pm. End the year on a good note at one of the best Comedy Clubs in the world!

3. Shimmy Beach Club:

Shimmy Beach Club hosts one of the biggest New Years parties in Cape Town. This year, the club will be transformed into Ibiza and channelling the Island party experience. Amazing dancers and performers will be on the iconic Shimmy Beach Club stage creating the vibe.This years lineup includes Camilo Franco from Barcelona, Andy Baxter from Ibiza and Dean Fuel. 4. New Years Eve at the V&A Waterfront:

The V&A hosts the biggest NYE celebration in South Africa.This year’s theme is MOTHER EARTH so be there to witness the amazing festivities and the spectacular NYE fireworks at midnight.The parade starts at 6pm at the Flagpole courtyard. Various restaurants will be open on the evening across the V&A to cater to all of your hunger pangs on the night. Experience live pop-up performances such as the beautiful Tree Opera singer, Our Mother Earth singing divas, The Fab 4 Acapella group, The Nomadic Orchestra and much more.

5. Alcazar New Year’s Eve:

Alcazar NYE is 12 hours of non-stop partying, performance art, eating delicious food and basically, just having a really good time. Alcazar is a New Year’s Eve celebration brought to you by Bazique Festival and Wolfkop Weekender.The theme this year is ‘Arabian Nights’, so get your outfits together! The party features two main stages, The Bazique Outdoor stage which is a large scale art piece and the indoor Wolfkop Ballroom which is an electric ballroom set inside a heritage building. The night’s lineup features 5fm Dj, Kid Fonque, Dean Fuel, Lady M, Floyd Lavine and much more. Go to Alcazar this New Years Eve to experience an unforgettable night!
